STIFF-F Study Rehabilitation Survey

Segmental Tibial fractures, reamed Intramedullary nailing versus circular Frame external Fixation - a Feasibility study (STIFF-F).

The primary objective of the STIFF-F study is to assess the feasibility of a multicentre Randomised Controlled Trial comparing Intramedullary Nailing with Circular Frame External Fixation in patients with segmental tibial fractures. To help answer this question, we need to know what the current post-operative rehabilitation regimes are for these patients. Reaching a consensus in this area is important in order to inform what standard rehabilitation and recovery should be for the definitive STIFF study.

As someone who works with patients who have segmental tibial fractures, please complete the following questions. This survery should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Please note: this survey needs to be completed in one stiting to avoid losing data.

All answers you provide will be anonymous; we will not be able to identify you from the answers you give. Data from this survey will be collated and used to determine the current consensus pathway for Intramedullary Nail and Circular Frame External Fixation post-operative rehabilitation.

If you have any questions, please contact the study team at stiff@ndorms.ox.ac.uk

Many thanks,

The STIFF-F Study Team
